3D Rendered Art
I've been experimenting with 3D modeling and rendering since the Summer of 2000 when I first got the programs Poser and Bryce. Those programs don't allow the user to do much in terms of actual modelling, but they're good introductions to the concepts involved in modelling and rendering, and can produce magnificent works--if you know what you're doing (which I didn't, to start with, and it showed in my work). A while after, I acquired 3D Studio Max and began to learn how to actually model things from scratch, and I've been using all three programs together ever since.
Many of the works in this gallery are older and aren't representative of my current skills in 3D art. I didn't used to model many of the objects in my scenes, whereas now I model everything I possibly can. Also, my favourite part of 3D art is texturing, but many of my older works were before I learned how to texture well, so they include many textures that were downloaded from sources online (or no textures at all). I do add to this gallery, but since I only experiment with 3D in my spare time, new art in this section doesn't come often.

Newer works are displayed in the top section; older works that no longer represent my skills are displayed seperately in the bottom section. I've kept these few older pieces up here because, though they're woefully outdated and many of them are particularly sub-par, I like them for one reason or another and would still like to share them with others, even if I often find them rather embarassing in terms of skill and technique. :-)
