Sunny

I was a bit bored in my Biology lecture one day, so I decided to doodle around the idea of making anime characters out of my cats. Based on those scribbles in my Biology note margins, this anime was born.
This is Sunny. He doesn't look very sunny and cheerful, does he? When he was a kitten, he was an outgoing, playful, extroverted, people-oriented cat; his brother, Gloomy, was the shy, timid one. they got their names partially based on coat colour and partially on personality--unfortunately, the personality part has reversed itself. Now, Sunny is timid, shy, and doesn't like to be around anyone but me and my family. His eyes have a perpetual look to them, one that can seem either sad, bored, confused, or disapproving, depending on how he looks at you. He's also a big fat tub-o-lard and was the basis for the fat kitty angel in Plenty of Kibble in Heaven.
This was just a quick low-res doodle, but I have in mind at some point to do a hi-res version with a lot more development in details (and an actual background). If you'd like to see pictures of the real Sunny, you can view them here.
