Lady Greensleeves

(Spring 2001; Prismacolour pencils)

I've always loved the song "Greensleeves," and after I saw a picture done by an Elfwood artist of a Medieval maiden wearing a green dress with bell sleeves, I got inspired to create a vision of the lady from the song. After I drew this, however, I had the idea for a story completely unrelated to the song (the song was written by King Henry VIII for one of his mistresses, by the way).

So now, this Lady Greensleeves is the heroine of my story (her real name is Lady Briannon Greene), and you can find the prologue of this story in the Writing section. There was actually a sketched background on this (which I removed digitally to make it cleaner for posting online), but I never got around to finishing it.
